How to choose the right frames?

Round face

A round face is usually characterised by rounded lines and broad, round cheeks - the face is often relatively short in relation to its width. Glasses that are wider than they are high, with sharp edges, suit round faces well. Rectangular glasses make the face seem narrower, more pronounced and longer, thereby giving a more harmonious expression.

Oval face

An oval face has harmonious, soft contours. It is broadest at the cheek bones and has a soft, rounded chin. In other words, a face with balanced proportions. If your face is oval, you have the ideal face for glasses - and, in principle, all frames will suit you! You can play with shapes and colours as much as you like. It is only a question of what you like and what look you are searching for. In order to preserve the natural balance in your face, you will benefit from glasses that are just as broad, or broader, than the broadest part of your face.

Square face

A square face is characterised by a strong and marked jaw line and a wide forehead. The width and height of the face are the same, and it has pronounced and angular contours. Any type of round, oval or tear-shaped frame suits those who have square faces, because a frame with a rounded shape softens up the more angular face, giving a harmonious expression.

Triangular/heart-shaped face

A heart-shaped face is characterised by being wider at the top and narrower further down - with a wide forehead, high cheekbones and a pointed chin. If you have a heart-shaped face, you are fortunate, because you have a really good face for eyeglasses. You can wear oval, round and angular glasses. So you can just relax and try out a wide range of frames, all according to your mood and personal style.
